Hello, I am Sue Tebow…

My hope is to illuminate the values of country living by exposing the passion of hard-working people in agriculture.

Once it became clear to me that my photos taken over the years of agricultural landscape, machinery and people had a purpose, I realized I had an opportunity—or maybe a responsibility in a way—to tell others about the hard-working people in agriculture. That is when I launched the “agri.CULTURE” pages on Facebook and Instagram, featuring daily stories about a farmer or rancher.

Alongside my husband, Ron, we own TBO Cattle Company in Moses Lake, WA. We raised our kids here and put up 400 acres of hay while also running a cow/calf operation. We marvel at the gorgeous sunsets, are closer to nature and feel good about being a part of something bigger than ourselves.

A daily post from a farmer or rancher—no names and a single photo—may be simple, but it is effective. agri.CULTURE, has more than 25,000 followers from around the world, featuring more than 1,200 stories.

In 2017, I was honored to receive the Charles Easton Award by the Agriculture Council of America for my work as an advocate for accurate communications between rural and urban audiences. I have also been inducted into the Grant County Agriculture Hall of Fame and given the Excellence in Agriculture Service Award. And you may have watched me talk about the agri.CULTURE project on the “Washington Grown” TV Show.

Facts will never move the human heart like storytelling can. So, I will continue to weave story after story into my day to share an experience someone had that may be an inspiration or education to someone else.
