“We have chickens on our farm, 4 cats, 3 dogs, 1 goat, 2 pigs and the two steers. I practice with my steer on showing every day. I walk him about 30 minutes. I have had him since he was a baby. I did good at the fair for my first year showing steers. I got sixth out of my class for fit and show. I got sixth place in market class too. Now he is home for us to feed out and get bigger before we butcher him. It doesn’t bother me because it helps with our food. If we didn’t have animals like this we wouldn’t be able to eat, we wouldn’t have steaks and stuff. Steaks are one of my favorite foods and brisket too. So if we didn’t do that we wouldn’t have meat. I know that is what animals are for and we treat them real good while they are here. I really like to play with my dog and sometimes ride the steer. I walk him to the lawn and sit on him while he eats grass.”
