Alyson 2019 FFA
“I’m a junior in high school and I am the FFA president. I didn’t grow up on a farm, but my grandpa had cattle. When I was little I always liked horses and I begged and begged my family to let me have a horse. That didn’t happen for a while so I started showing cows. I trained one of the cows to be ridden and so they thought they better buy me a horse. I was 10 years old then. My cows name was Coco and I could ride her. I joined 4-H and then FFA and saw my uncles trap shoot. I learned to trap shoot and now I can compete. FFA has helped me develop my career through agriculture. My hope is to use my leadership skills and become a ranch manager.”
